North Canton, Ohio: Mercy Health & Fitness Center is offering two Yoga classes beginning in February. Yoga for You is an exercise class to help you strengthen without stress, lengthen without pain and improve balance and flexibility. Mark Jones, certified Yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance®, will teach the class from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Feb. 19 – March 26 at Mercy Health Center of North Canton, located at 6200 Whipple Ave., N.W. “Yoga restores space to the joints and length to the muscles plus develops calm and vitality by pairing mind with breath,” Jones says. “You do not have to be a dancer or a circus contortionist to do this,” he says. “No need to perform the poses picture-perfect to gain benefits.”
Jones is also teaching a Yoga class to help runners and golfers maintain their fitness level during winter’s cold weather.
