North Canton, OH – Congratulations to Canton resident, Mike Schott, Mercy Media Services, for being named Mercy’s Star Performer employee for June 2013. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and championing service excellence.
Schott was nominated for his willingness to always help his co-workers, the friendly manner in which he works and the dedication he shows to the detail of many “behind the scenes” projects. He was described as someone who is a living model of Mercy’s mission and a true asset to the hospital. He has been an employee at Mercy since 1980 and was presented with his award by Mercy President & CEO, Thomas E. Cecconi.
