North Canton, Ohio: As part of Mercy Medical Center’s commitment to the promotion of health and physical fitness in the community, Mercy Medical Center hosted its annual Mercy Health Run Classic on Saturday, May 12 at Mercy Health Center of North Canton. Approximately 250 runners participated in the 5k road-race and 0.6 mile Kids Fun Run.
The overall female and male winners both achieved course records. North Canton resident Brigitte Fryan was the first female to finish with a time of 20:25.72, and Louisville resident Sebastian Swartz took first place with a time of 17:53.46.
Mercy Health Run Classic is sponsored by Mercy Sports Medicine and Mercy Health & Fitness Center with support from Subway, Canton Chair Rental, Coca-Cola, Einstein Bros Bagels and ChronoTrack Systems.
