Canton, Ohio: More women than men die of heart disease. In fact, coronary heart disease, which causes heart attack, is the single leading cause of death for American women. Mercy Medical Center will present, “Heart Disease: What Every Women Should Know and Every Man Should Hear” on Wednesday, May 11th inside Mercy Hall Auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This FREE program will cover several different risk factors, including stress and diabetes, which may contribute to heart disease in women. Featured speakers include Elena K. Norch, M.D., Internal Medicine; Stacey Hollaway, M.D., Internal Medicine and Ahmed Sabe, M.D., Medical Director of Mercy Cardiovascular Institute (MCI).
