Mercy Sports Medicine will be offering multiple summer clinics for athletes ages 12-16 in June and July. Each one-day clinic is $50 and will be held at Mercy Sports Medicine, 6200 Whipple Ave. NW, North Canton. Mercy’s sports enhancement staff with teach athletes how to safely execute exercises taking their abilities to the next level. Learn to Lift Clinic:
The Learn to Life Clinic is designed to each teens/pre-teens the basic weight training techniques and to help them lift safely and properly. The first session will be held on June 16 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and the second session will be held on July 15 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Speed & Agility Clinic:
This clinic includes drills to help young athletes develop speed, agility and power. Session one will be held on June 24 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and session two will be held on July 22 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Mercy Sports Medicine’s Runner’s Clinic will teach exercises specific to running. Athletes will also learn maintenance and injury prevention techniques. This clinic will be held on July 17 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
