Canton, Ohio: Mercy Sports Medicine offers three new youth conditioning programs to its sports enhancement training. Parents and their children are invited to a free open house to be held from 5–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8 and Tuesday, Sept. 15 at Mercy Health Center of North Canton. Your child can participate in a free mini-workout, and parents will have an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the program, pricing and scheduling. New Mercy Sports Medicine Youth Conditioning Classes:
Speed, Agility and Quickness: Participants ages 6–13 will learn proper techniques for running, jumping and cutting to enhance their performance and reduce the risk of injuries.
FUNdamental Cyclone: For youth ages 6–9, this class focuses on all fundamental movement patterns to enhance the participant’s performance in golf, baseball, lacrosse or any other rotational sport.
SMASH Zone: This is an advanced FUNdamental Cyclone class for participants ages 10–13, which focuses on mastering fundamental movement patterns.
