Mercy Service League’s 2015 Harvest Ball to Benefit The First Phase of the Mercy Facility Transformation

Posted on: April 17, 2015

Mercy Service League will hold its 2015 Harvest Ball on Saturday, October 24, in the Canton Memorial Civic Center Auditorium.  Orthopedic surgeons, Tim Conlan, M.D., and Gerald F. Klimo, M.D, will serve as honorary medical staff co-chairs.  Proceeds raised at this highly anticipated event will benefit the first phase of the Mercy Facility Transformation–an initiative to provide more private rooms throughout the hospital. This project will renovate part of the hospital’s fifth floor into a state-of-the art Orthopedic and Observation unit.  Tina Linz and Lisa Werstler are Mercy Service League event chairs.

This year’s Harvest Ball is themed Ignite the Night. Guests will enjoy a venetian masquerade-inspired evening of revelry, romance, and music.  The Canton Memorial Civic Center Auditorium will be fully transformed into an elaborately decorated venue for fine dining, dancing and fun.   Harvest Ball 2015 attendees will experience an enchanting evening, with no auction and no wallets required during the Service League’s signature event.  Highlights of the Harvest Ball include a five-course gourmet dining experience, live music by The Orchestra and the drawing for the $10,000 CASH RAFFLE winner.  Only 250 tickets will be sold at $250 each for a 1 in 250 chance to win the $10,000 cash prize. To purchase a Cash Raffle ticket, please call 330-430-2750.

The renovation of Mercy Medical Center’s fifth floor into a state-of-the-art Orthopedic and Observation unit will provide additional private rooms throughout the hospital and will greatly benefit the community for years to come. The 2015 honorary medical staff co-chairs are encouraging members of the medical staff and the community to make reservations and join them on Saturday, October 24, for a great cause and an exceptional evening.
