Canton, Ohio: Mercy Service League will host a Harvest fundraising event on Monday, August 22, at 91 Wood Fired Oven on Fulton Road in Jackson Township. A portion of the evening’s proceeds from food and gift card sales, as well as celebrity bartender gratuities, will benefit the expansion and renovation of Mercy Medical Center’s Emergency Department. Admission to the event is free. The event will also include a light dinner buffet, “celebrity” drinks (both are optional purchases), a 50/50 raffle and the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Harvest Raffle, the winner of which wins a $10,000 cash prize on October 15th at the Service League’s Harvest Ball. “Dancing Down Under” is the theme of this year’s Harvest Ball, which will be held at the McKinley Room of the Canton Memorial Civic Center.
