Mercy Medical Center’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation program is hosting a community open house on Tuesday, March 14, from 3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. in celebration of National Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week (March 13-19).
Pulmonary Rehabilitation plays a role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with chronic lung disease. This designated week honors individuals who struggle to overcome shortness of breath and the pulmonary professionals who work every day to alleviate that struggle and improve patients’ everyday life.
This open house is FREE and open to the public, offering:
- Free Blood Pressure Screenings
- Free Pulmonary Function Testing
- Door Prize
- Light Refreshments
- Smoking Cessation
- FREE Carbon Monoxide Measurements
- Mercy Weight Management
This event will also include a 5 p.m. presentation by Donald DeCoy, M.D, F.C.C.P., pulmonologist, Mercy Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.
