Canton, Ohio: In an effort to raise funds for its Minority Scholarship Fund, Mercy will be raffling off (2) tickets to the June 17th NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The raffle ticket sales will kick-off on Tuesday, April 19th with the arrival of an official NASCAR pace car. The pace car, courtesy of MIS, will sit in the former helipad in front of Mercy Medical Center from 8am to 6pm on the kick-off date to promote ticket sales.
The raffle tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5, and will be sold until the drawing on June 3rd at 12 noon. On April 19th, the tickets will be available for sale in the main lobby of the hospital. After the kick-off date, tickets will be available for purchase inside Mercy’s Human Resources department (located behind the hospital in Mercy Hall). Additionally, raffle tickets will be available for sale on May 2nd, May 17th and June 2nd inside Mercy’s conference room C, just outside of the hospital’s cafeteria, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information regarding raffle tickets sales, please call 330-489-1159.
