Mercy Medical Center is proud to join the nation in celebrating National Rehabilitation Awareness Week (September 19-25). This is a week-long celebration is designed to educate people about the benefits of rehabilitation and the capabilities of people with disabilities. Rehab specialists work very hard to help those who have illnesses or injuries live up to their fullest potential through rehabilitation.

Accredited by CARF – the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation, Mercy’s Rehab Center offers neuropsychological services, nursing services, nutritional services, occupational therapy, pastoral care, pets on call, physical therapy, social service, speech and language pathology and therapeutic recreation. Medically complex and multiple trauma situations
Rehabilitation is defined as the restoration of an ill or injured person to self-sufficiency. The philosophy of the Rehabilitation Team at Mercy Medical Center is that each participant has the right to attain the highest level of independence, focusing not on the disabilities, but on ABILITIES.
