North Canton, Ohio: Mercy Homecare is offering a “drive-in” influenza vaccination clinic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, Wednesday, Dec. 8, and Wednesday, Dec. 15. Stop by Mercy Homecare, located at 7569 Whipple Ave., N.W., in North Canton, and if you are unable to get out of the car, just drive into the parking lot: A Mercy Homecare nurse will come to you. The vaccine is available for anyone 12 years of age or older, and the cost is $15. If you have Medicare, bring your Medicare card, and the vaccine will be covered. No appointment is needed.
December 5–11 is National Influenza Vaccination Week. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encourage everyone six months of age and older to get vaccinated against the seasonal flu. Protect yourself. Protect your family. Get the flu vaccination and not the flu.
