Canton, Ohio: Support of family and friends is an essential part of a heart patient’s life. Patients, as well as their loved ones, must adjust and be understanding of the challenges that accompany heart disease.
Join us for this presentation, The Heart of the Family, to learn the important role that family members play in a heart patient’s recovery. This program will take place on Wednesday, February 6th, beginning at 12:30 p.m. inside the Community Room at Mercy Health Center of Jackson, 7337 Caritas Circle NW, Massillon.
Featured speakers include David Zeh, RN, Clinical Manager for Mercy’s Non-Invasive Cardiac Diagnostics, and Amanda Ruby, RN, Critical Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center. Zeh is a recent heart attack survivor and will be joined in the presentation by his wife and son. Ruby will be presenting from the “family” perspective as her father is a survivor of both heart attack and open heart surgery.
Reservations are requested and lunch will be served. Please call Mercy Healthcare Connection at 330-489-1333 or 1-800-223-8662 for more information or to make a reservation.
