Cardiovascular disease kills nearly 50,000 African American women each year. Furthermore, only half of African American women are aware of the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. Join us on Saturday, February 21st to learn how to change these statistics! Mercy Heart Center will be offering a FREE luncheon and presentation entitled, Sisters In Red: African American Women & Heart Disease, on Saturday, February 21st with doors opening at 11:00 am.
This informative community event will be held at Meyer’s Lake Ballroom, 3218 Parkway St. NW in Canton, and will include a sit-down lunch and presentations by Rabia Arshad, M.D., non-invasive cardiologist, and John W.
