To celebrate National Cancer Survivor Day, Mercy Cancer Center is offering Your Future in Focus on Wednesday, June 10 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Mercy Hall Auditorium. This is a FREE, interactive presentation for cancer survivors (plus one guest) about using photography to help deal with emotions and challenges in life. The guest presenter will be photographer John Stone with Eyeclectic Photography.
Featured in the Canton Repository last year, Stone specializes in photography as therapy, helping people cope with challenges by opening the senses to beauty and providing tools and skills for self-expression. He is also the founder of HeARTSComingTogether.net, a local peace group, and is working on the restoration of the historic Nimisilla (Cook’s) Park in the northeast Canton.
Registration for Your Future in Focus will begin at 6 p.m. Mercy Hall Auditorium is located on Mercy Medical Center’s main campus, located at 1320 Mercy Drive NW, Canton, Ohio 44708. Light refreshments will be served and attendees are encouraged to bring their own cameras. This program is FREE, however, reservations are requested.
