Local Primary Care Physicians Join Mercy Medical Center

Canton, Ohio: Kelly M. Harbert, D.O., and Vincent E. Perkowski, D.O., local primary care physicians, have joined Mercy Professional Care Physicians effective July 1, 2011. Both physicians are certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and are accepting new patients of all ages—including children and geriatrics–at their specific Mercy Primary Care practices. Same day sick appointments are also available.

Mercy Primary Care – Belden

Dr. Harbert completed her family practice residency (Chief Resident) and internship at Doctors Hospital of Stark County in Massillon. She has been serving Stark County patients as a family practitioner since 1997, and will continue to serve the local community from her location at Mercy Primary Care – Belden, 4256 Fulton Dr. N.W., Suite A, in Canton. Mercy Primary Care – Perry

Dr. Perkowski completed a family medicine residency and an emergency medicine residency at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic medicine in addition to an internship at Doctors Hospital of Stark County in Massillon. He is a member of the Stark County Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the Ohio Osteopathic Association. Dr. Perkowski has been serving patients in Stark County as a primary care physician since 1997 and as a wound care physician since 2000. Now seeing patients at Mercy Primary Care – Massillon, 3300 Bailey St., N.W., Suite 102 in Massillon, appointments can be made by calling 330-834-9761.

Mercy Professional Care Physicians is a network of medical professionals owned and managed by Mercy Medical Center.
