Canton, Ohio: Jackson Township Lions will be offering free preschool vision testing on Wednesday, August 22nd from 5 pm until 8 pm at Mercy Health Center of Jackson Township, located at 7337 Caritas Circle, Massillon (across from the David YMCA). These screenings check seven indicators of vision weakness and are open to ALL local children, regardless of the school district they will be attending.
The preschool vision screenings will be held in the 2nd floor community room of Mercy Health Center of Jackson Township. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment is necessary. Parents will need to sign a release indicating that it is only a screening, and if indicators are found showing eye weakness, follow up with an eye specialist will be recommended. For more information, please call Jackson Township Lion member, John Whitmer, at 330-837-9412.
