Canton, Ohio: Reflections Artistic Salon, Inc., located at 4938 Everhard Rd. in Canton, is offering $12 haircuts for men, women and children from 3–7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31 with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit Mercy Hospice. Salon owner Peggy Rushe is a Mercy Hospice volunteer and said her staff is volunteering their time to raise funds for Mercy Hospice patients and their families.
Hairdressers from Reflections Artistic Salon are all familiar with Mercy Hospice. “Since 2002, several hairdressers at our salon have donated their time to provide haircuts for Hospice patients,” Rusche says. “When we get a call, we visit the patient at his or her residence to offer this service.”
Rusche says five hairdressers will be participating in the Haircuts for Hospice fundraising event. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. To schedule an appointment, call Reflections Artistic Salon at 330-499-3093.
