Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center will once again partner with the Stark County District Library to offer the annual Family Health Fair and Cover the Uninsured Day on Saturday, April 9th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Main Library location (715 Market Avenue N, Canton).
Free and open to the community, individuals and families will be offered various health screenings including blood pressure checks, dental screenings, lung function, and blood draws for cholesterol and glucose. Many community and health organizations will have booths containing educational materials and will be on hand to answer questions. Several departments from Mercy Medical Center will be on there to provide information on smoking cessation, stroke, surgery and more. Door prizes, give-a-ways, snacks and various children’s activities will also be offered throughout the health fair
