Canton, Ohio: Gregory J. Wood, D.O., interventional cardiologist, has joined the Mercy Cardiovascular Institute (MCI). Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Wood is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Dr. Wood received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where is also completed his internship and residency in internal medicine. He completed his sub-specialty cardiovascular fellowship training at The Deborah Heart & Lung Center in New Jersey. He has also served as clinical assistant professor of medicine/cardiology for Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
