Mercy Health Center of Tuscarawas County invites the community to take part in a Healthcare Vendor Expo on Friday, April 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will offer give-a-ways, goodies, health screenings, as well as informational displays and materials from various local healthcare agencies and organizations.
Mercy Health Center of Tuscarawas County, located at 1031 West High Ave., in New Philadelphia, will also be offering low-cost blood screenings during the expo. From 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., total cholesterol and glucose screenings (blood sugar) will be offered for $2 each, and a complete lipid profile (total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL and HDL) will be offered for $8. Mercy Health Center of Tuscarawas County boasts a STATCARE Immediate Care Center, Cardiac Diagnostic Testing, Physical Therapy, Laboratory, Radiology services including bone density testing, computed tomography (CT), mammography, nuclear medicine and ultrasound, in addition to Work Health & Safety Services. The facility offers the above low-cost blood screenings the second Friday of each month with no appointment necessary.
