Canton, OH – Congratulations to Canton resident, Joe Hoffman, Mercy Central Transport, for being named Mercy’s Star Performer employee for May 2013. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and championing service excellence.
Hoffman’s nomination complimented his compassion and understanding toward patients and stated that he was truly an asset to Mercy Medical Center. He was nominated for going “above and beyond” by very grateful patients who received excellent patient care by Hoffman. He has been an employee at Mercy since 2012 and was presented with his award by Mercy President & CEO, Thomas E. Cecconi.
