Canton, OH – Congratulations to Canton resident, Jasmine Hayes, nurse assistant at Mercy Medical Center, for being named Mercy’s Star Performer employee for November 2012. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and championing service excellence.
Hayes was nominated by many patients and visitors for her compassion and understanding toward patients. Her nominations each noted her helpfulness and kindness to everyone she meets. Hayes has been an employee at Mercy Medical Center since June of 2012 and was presented her award by Mercy President and CEO, Thomas E. Cecconi, nursing director, Barb Williams and Human Resources manager, Charity Davis.
