Mercy Service League Invites Community to Souper Bowl Fundraising Event on January 29

Mercy Service League will host its annual soup tasting fundraising event, “Souper Bowl” on Sunday, January 29th, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Meyer’s Lake Ballroom, 3218 Parkway St. NW, Canton, Ohio 44708. Tickets are $25 per person and include unlimited soup tastings and dessert.  The event also features a cash bar, gift certificate tree, cork pull and many silent auction items, including CAVS tickets.

 

Attendees will enjoy soup samplings from a variety of local establishments and desserts will be prepared by local culinary art students. Soup vendors will once again compete for the coveted Peoples’ Choice award. This year, there will be a corn hole tournament, registration is requested. The corn hole tournament is $10 a person (2 person teams), with play to 21 points and the winning team receives a 50/50 cash prize.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite football jersey to the fundraising event. 

 

All proceeds from the 2017 Souper Bowl benefit the Mercy Facility Transformation Project - an initiative to create more private patient rooms throughout Mercy Medical Center.
