Mercy Maternity Services is offering Hope For Healing, a new perinatal loss support group for people who have experienced the loss of a baby due to a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. The death of someone you love is one of life’s greatest challenges. Mercy Maternity Services support group hopes to help parents grieve the loss of their child and find hope in an atmosphere of support and understanding. The group will be facilitated by Linda L. Heitger, RN, BA, BSN, and other experienced nurses from Mercy Maternity Services. Heitger has over 20 years experience supporting parents and families who have endured a perinatal loss. She has been trained in perinatal loss through Resolve Through Sharing (RTS), the gold standard developed at Gunderson Lutheran Medical Foundation.
