Mercy Medical Center Names Pike New Vice President
Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center announced that Jeff Pike, MHA, R.N., has been appointed to the Mercy team as new vice president of Physician Relations, Business Development and Strategy. Pike comes to Mercy from the Cleveland Clinic: Akron General Campus where he was vice president of their Physician Partners Group and Operations.

Cecconi, president and CEO at Mercy Medical Center. “He has over 20 years experience in the health care field and will oversee physician relations, strategic planning, Mercy physician practices, business development, and our sales and outreach team.”
Pike holds a master of health administration from The Ohio State University and a bachelor of science in nursing from Kent State University. He completed Cleveland Clinic Administrative and Advisory Board Academy Fellowships. Since 2004, he has served at The Cleveland Clinic: Akron General Campus as director of Patient Services, director of Nursing Administration, senior director of Nursing Administration, associate vice president of Nursing Operations, and vice president of Physician Partners Group and Operations. His work experience also includes director of Patient Care Services at Lutheran Hospital (2002-2003); manager of Special Projects at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation (2000–2002); and registered nurse at Ohio State University Medical Center (1996–2000).
Pike currently serves as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and previously served as vice president of the American College of Healthcare Executives Student Chapter. He received the Crain’s Business Under 40 and Barbara Donaho Distinguished Leadership in Learning Awards.
