Mercy Heart Center Program Focuses on Coronary Artery Disease, Acute Intervention and Robotic Surgery
Canton, Ohio: Mercy Heart Center is sponsoring a free community education program from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 at AA Executive Catering, Inc., located at 5211 West Tuscarawas St. in Canton. Guest speaker Amjad Iqbal, M.D., Mayo Clinic trained medical director of Mercy’s Satellite Cardiovascular Imaging Program, will discuss coronary artery disease; Ahmed Sabe, M.D., Harvard trained interventional cardiologist and medical director of Mercy Heart Center, will talk about acute intervention; and Aqeel Sandhu, M.D., Harvard and Cleveland Clinic trained medical director of Mercy’s Cardiothoracic Surgery Program, will discuss robotic-assisted cardiac surgery.
