Mercy General Surgeons Coughlin and Shackour Accepting New Patients
Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center welcomes general surgeons Lisa Coughlin, M.D., and Mazin Shackour, M.D., FACS, to Mercy General Surgery Associates.
Coughlin received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland and completed her residency at University of Toledo Medical Center, where she served as chief administrative resident. She has provided teaching and training to medical students at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Medical Association.
Shackour completed his residency training at Abington Memorial Hospital, Drexel University and Guthrie Clinic, all in Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He comes to Mercy with three years of solo general surgery practice experience at the Conway Surgery Clinic in Arkansas.
