Canal Fulton Resident, Beth Holland, Honored As Star Performer Employee at Mercy Medical Center
Congratulations to Canal Fulton resident, Beth Holland, surgical first assistant specialist, for being named Mercy Medical Center’s October 2016 Star Performer employee. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and for championing service excellence.
Holland was nominated for providing excellent customer service and going “above and beyond” the scope her job duties. On several occasions, she has been complimented for spending extra time with her patients, often staying over after her shift to be with them. According to one patient, she makes a “profound effect” on those around her – which makes her a shining example of the mission at Mercy Medical Center.
Holland has been an employee at the hospital since 1987 and was presented with her award by Thomas E. Cecconi, president & CEO of Mercy Medical Center.
