Richard (Dick) Croasdaile Jr. has always enjoyed an active life. After his second retirement last year, he soon joined the Mercy Development Foundation as a board member and regular volunteer.
“After all,” he says, “how much golf can you play?”
Although he likes to keep things light-hearted, his desire to help the foundation stems from his support of Mercy’s mission and his own commitment to our community. He calls his volunteer efforts at Mercy “the right fit.”
Dick first became acquainted with Mercy in 1970 when he joined our board of directors. At the time, he was a manager at Central Trust Company, which he retired from in 1992 as executive vice president. Afterwards, he joined his son at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management until he retired again in 2014.
A participant in this year’s Mercy Medical Experience, Dick comes to our main campus every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning to serve. Currently, he’s calling Mercy contributors to personally thank them for giving – an invaluable part in maintaining and growing our donor relationships. We sincerely appreciate his efforts on behalf of our patients, families, employees and staff.
