If you are dealing with extreme obesity and/or serious, weight-related health problems – such as diabetes, high blood pressure or severe sleep apnea – you may be eligible for weight-loss surgery.
Mercy Medical Center and the Center for Bariatric Surgery at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland will offer a free information seminar on weight-loss surgery on Monday, April 7, at 6 pm in the Mercy Medical Center Medical Office Building Auditorium in Canton.
Dr. Chandra Hassan, bariatric surgeon, and other experts from the bariatric surgery center will be on site to answer your questions and present the information you need to make an informed decision. Frequently asked questions that will be covered include:
- How much will surgery cost?
- What can I eat after surgery?
- How soon will I see results?
- What if I gain the weight back?
- When can I return to work?
This event will be held in the Mercy Medical Office Building Auditorium. Park in the main parking deck and enter the hospital's main concourse. Take the elevators on your left near the Mercy Marketplace to the basement. The auditorium will be immediately on your right.
