Mercy Service League invites the community to a spring kick-off fundraising event, Spring Fling, on Monday, May 11 at Jerzees Sports Grille (5260 Dressler Rd., Belden Village). From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the public is welcome to join Mercy Service League as it raises money for the first phase of the Mercy Facility Transformation–an initiative to provide more private rooms throughout the hospital. This project will renovate part of the hospital’s fifth floor into a state-of-the art Orthopedic and Observation unit.
Spring Fling will include local “celebrity” bartenders, delicious American appetizers, entrees and “celebrity” drinks (all of which are optional purchases), a live broadcast by News-Talk 1480 WHBC’s Kenny Roda and the opportunity to purchase tickets for the $10,000 Cash Raffle; the winner of which will be announced on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Service League’s Harvest Ball. All proceeds (including all celebrity bartender tips and a portion of food, drink and Cash Raffle ticket sales) will go toward the Mercy Facility Transformation.
