Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center will host a continuing medical education program on Wednesday, March 23 at 6 p.m., entitled, “How to Get Rid of a Pain in the Back: A Clinician’s Guide to Spine Care”. Dinner and registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a lecture, panel discussion and Q&A session.
Presenters and panel members will include David Gutlove, M.D., Mercy Pain Management; Adel Zakari, M.D., Mercy Pain Management; Abbas Sadeghian, Ph.D., psychologist, Mercy Medical Center and Brian Walker DPT, physical therapist, Mercy Medical Center.
Among all of its educational objectives, this presentation will review the interventional options in the treatment of back pain, discuss various therapy options (physical therapy and occupational therapy) in the treatment of back pain and explain the role that nutrition plays in the treatment of this type of pain.
