Mercy Cancer Center is offering a free luncheon and program for breast cancer survivors titled “Beyond Surviving is Thriving” on Saturday, March 19 at the Massillon Woman’s Club, located at 210 Fourth Street, NE, in Massillon. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m., and the program will conclude at 1 p.m.
Guest speaker Regina Brett, columnist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and breast cancer survivor, will discuss life after a breast cancer diagnosis. Brett is a 2008 and 2009 Pulitzer Prize finalist and author of God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life’s Little Detours. Additional presentations will focus on lymphedema management and looking your best during and after cancer treatment.
