Massillon Rotary Health Fair

The Massillon Rotary Foundation and Mercy Medical Center are partnering to offer free blood work, free health screenings and free mammograms for the Western Stark County community on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Mercy Health Center of Massillon, 2935 Lincoln Way West in Massillon. The free blood work and health screenings will be available from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. The free mammograms are available, by appointment only, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The mammograms require a physician’s order.
These events are open to residents of communities served by the Massillon Rotary Foundation, including Massillon, Beach City, Bethlehem Township, Brewster, Canal Fulton, Jackson Township, Navarre, North Lawrence, Perry Township, Richville, Sugar Creek Township, Tuscarawas Township and Wilmot.
The free lab screenings include a complete blood count (CBC), comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), lipid profile, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), hemoglobin A1C, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), if applicable, and vitamin D 25-hydroxy. These screenings test for cholesterol, anemia, kidney/liver function, thyroid, prostate, vitamin D and blood glucose. A 12-hour fast is recommended for more accurate results. Registration is requested. Please call Mercy Healthcare Connection at 330-489-1333 to register for free blood screenings. A physician’s order is NOT required for the lab screenings and health fair.

• Therapy Services (Strength/Balance Screenings & Tours)
• Respiratory Therapy (Pulmonary Function Testing)
• Mercy Heart Center (Blood Pressure Checks)
