Are you seeing spots? The average person has between 10 and 40 moles, though the number can vary drastically. Though most moles are harmless, it is important to keep an eye on them in case they develop into abnormal moles, called dysplastic nevi, that have the possibility of becoming cancerous.
Mercy will offer free skin cancer screenings on May 21st beginning at 6pm at Mercy Health Center of North Canton. Please call Mercy Healthcare Connection at 330-489-1333 or 800-223-8662 to make an appointment.

Mercy Cancer Center is offering these free screenings for patients with a specific area or areas of concern. This is not a whole body exam. The screening is for people not currently under the care of a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Screening will be performed by Dr. Wikas.
