‘Weekly Funny’: Tuslaw Student Cheers Mercy Patients with Jokes, Drawings

At the beginning of summer, 9-year-old Nathan Kneidel accepted this challenge from his teachers at RiverTree Christian Church: find a way to serve others through your God-given gifts.

When Nathan talked with his mother Amy about what he’s good at and what he likes to do, they thought of the jokes Nathan shares with his dad Craig, who recently underwent surgery at Mercy for a treatable form of thyroid cancer.

Allen Elementary Makes Its Best GOTR Showing in 2014

In Mercy's fifth year as the sponsor of the Allen Elementary Girls on the Run (GOTR) team, the students from this Canton City school made their best showing yet! Ten students, including one girl with Downs Syndrome, crossed the finish line of this special 5K with a mission to "inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident" through the activity of running.

150 Years of Caring: Humility of Mary Sisters Share Mercy Ministry & Legacy

If you are from Stark County, Ohio, or another neighboring county, the history of Mercy Medical Center and the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine (CSA) may be familiar to you. For more than a century, the Sisters of Charity have served the people of Canton and beyond, and its members continue to care for Mercy patients, families and communities today.
