About 10 million Americans suffer from peripheral vascular disease (PVD), a group of conditions that affects the blood vessels outside the heart and brain. A leading cause of disability among individuals over 50 and in those with diabetes, PVD increases the risk of a potentially fatal stroke, blood clot, heart attack or aneurysm (rupture of a blood vessel).

Often referred to as a "silent killer", PVD and its complications can strike without warning or symptoms. That’s why vascular screenings conducted by an accredited vascular laboratory are so important, especially for those over age 55 who have one or more of the following vascular disease risk factors:

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening: $40.00
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD): $40.00

All three tests can be obtained at a discounted price of $99  
A physician prescription is not required  

Each screening test takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and results will be reviewed by a qualified Mercy physician. You will receive a report within 15 days for follow-up with your attending physician.

MERCY’S VENOUS SCREENING EXAM:
Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI): $40.00
All three arterial screenings above plus the chronic venous insufficiency screening package is $125.  
A physician prescription is not required  

This test will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and results will be reviewed by a qualified Mercy physician. You will receive a report within 15 days for follow-up with your attending physician.
