Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association Honors Goff with Team Physician Award

Canton, Ohio: James D. Goff, D.O., medical director of Mercy Medical Center Sports Medicine, received one of three Team Physician Awards from the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association (OATA) on May 9 at the organization's 2008 Hall of Fame Awards Banquet in Akron.

Dr. Goff, a member of Mercy's active medical staff since 2003, is team physician for Malone College in Canton and Massillon Washington High School in Massillon.

"The Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association 'Team Physician of the Year' Award is a great honor," said Goff. "I truly appreciate working with many fine athletic trainers, and it's awesome to be selected by OATA for this award."
