Mercy Pastoral Care Seeks Eucharistic Ministers

Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center’s Pastoral Care Department seeks Eucharistic Ministers–lay people who bring Holy Communion to patients who wish to receive the sacrament while in the hospital. A volunteer application process is required, and volunteers must be trained by their parish and commissioned by the Diocese. Currently, various shifts are available.

Mercy Medical Center is the only faith-based hospital in a five county area serving individuals and families in Stark, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Summit and Wayne counties. For more information about this special way to serve others, call Mercy Volunteer Services at 330-489-1106.
