Mercy Offers Tea And Conversation With Author Josie Sethi

Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center Breast Care Center and Mercy Boutique are sponsoring “Second Chances: Life After Cancer” – a free program that includes tea and conversation with television and radio broadcaster, author and breast cancer survivor Josephine Carruso Sethi – on Thurs., June 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Following her battle with metastatic lobular breast cancer, Josie Sethi wrote, The Faces Behind Breast Cancer. The book, which features black-and-white portraits by photographer Jack Opatrany, is a tribute to the patients and physicians she met while undergoing treatment.

Sethi will be available to sign copies of her book in Mercy Boutique between 10 a.m. and noon and for tea and conversation in Mercy Cancer Center Resource Library between noon and 2 p.m. Tea and light refreshments will be served.

Shop Mercy Boutique between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and receive a 20-percent discount.
