Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center recently announced plans to expand its services at Mercy Health Center of Louisville, located at 1302 West Main Street in Louisville. Construction at the facility will begin this month and is expected to finish by the end of the year.
Canton, Ohio: “Understanding Diabetes and the Role of an Alert Service Dog” is the topic of Mercy Medical Center’s pediatric diabetes support group to be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 at Mercy Medical Center’s Ambulatory Care Center Auditorium. Diabetes alert service dogs are trained to identify the onset of hypoglycemia in people with insulin-dependent diabetes.
Canton, OH: Mercy Medical Center Hospice is seeking office assistant, fundraising, respite, and “11th hour” volunteers. A project coordinator for fundraising events will assist Mercy Hospice staff with fundraising efforts, which raise money for patients and their families.
