Mercy Medical Center Welcomes First New Year’s Baby in Northeast Ohio

At just two minutes after midnight on New Year’s Day, Mercy Medical Center welcomed the first baby born in 2014. Not only was Mosiya Mykhale McElroy the first New Year’s baby of Stark County, but, according to Fox 8 News in Cleveland, he was the first baby born in Northeast Ohio.

Mercy One of 10 U.S. Hospitals to Earn Fifth Consecutive ENERGY STAR Award

Canton, Ohio: The main campus of Mercy Medical Center recently received its fifth consecutive ENERGY STAR certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Stark County, Ohio-based facility is one of only 10 hospitals in the U.S. to receive ENERGY STAR five years in a row.
