Mercy Hospice volunteers are special people who are trained to support terminally ill patients and their families. If you’d like to become a Mercy Hospice volunteer, training classes begin Tuesday, Jan 27 at Mercy Homecare & Hospice offices, located at 4369 Whipple, Ave., in Canton.

Mercy Heart Center will be offering a FREE heart healthy cooking demonstration, Love Your Heart, Eat Healthy, to the community on Wednesday, February 4th in Mercy Hall Auditorium, 1320 Mercy Dr. NW, Canton, behind the hospital’s main parking deck. Beginning at 12 noon, this program will teach participants how to make healthier versions of several food and dessert items.

Mercy has garnered this award six times at either a bronze or silver level.
