Therapy Services Open at Mercy Health Center of Jackson
Massillon, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center now offers adult and pediatric therapy services in Western Stark County. Adult physical therapy, sports medicine, and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy opened at Mercy Health Center of Jackson, located at 7337 Caritas Circle, N.W., Massillon (next to the Paul and Carol David YMCA).
Quality, Choice and Convenience
Quality therapy services are vital to recovery from surgery or an injury, the management of progressive diseases, and efforts to overcome physical, mental and developmental disorders. At Mercy, licensed therapists design a treatment plan to meet your specific needs and schedule.
As a patient, you have the choice of your provider of care. You are permitted to utilize any service that your insurance plan allows. Mercy is an option for all insurance plans, so insurance restrictions are not a barrier to choosing Mercy.
Therapy sessions are often conducted several times a week, so choosing a location close to home or work is important according to Eldon Jones, director of Mercy Sports Medicine and Health & Fitness. “We saw a need for therapy services in Western Stark County, especially pediatric therapy,” Jones says.
Mercy also offers therapy services at the hospital’s main campus and health centers in Carroll County, Lake, North Canton and Tuscarawas County.
