New Philadelphia Resident, Ivan Miller, Honored As Star Performer Employee at Mercy Medical Center

Canton, OH - Congratulations to New Philadelphia resident, Ivan Miller, RN from Mercy Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), for being named Mercy’s Star Performer employee for October 2012. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and championing service excellence.

Miller was nominated by grateful visitors for the compassion and concern he shows everyone he meets. He always gives of himself to patients as well as their loved ones. Miller has been an employee at Mercy Medical Center since 2009 and was presented his award by Mercy President and CEO, Thomas E. Cecconi, administrative director of critical care services, Jason Pirtz and Human Resources manager, Charity Davis.

Mercy Medical Center, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System, operates a 476-bed hospital serving Stark, Carroll, Wayne, Holmes and Tuscarawas Counties and parts of Southeastern Ohio.
