Mercy Service League Invites Community to Fundraising “Party” Aug 11

Topic: Proceeds will benefit Mercy General Practice Dental Residency Endowment Fund | Contact: Cindy Hickey

Mercy Service League will hold its annual fundraising party, Celebrity Bartending Night, on Monday, August 11th at Ninety One Wood Fired Oven in Jackson Township (5570 Fulton Drive). From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the community is invited to join Mercy Service League as it raises money for the Mercy General Practice Dental Residency Endowment.

The event will include fresh, novel cuisine (pizza, steak, seafood and pasta), “celebrity” signature drinks (both are optional purchases), live entertainment and the opportunity to purchase tickets for the $10,000 Cash Raffle; the winner of which will be announced on Saturday, October 11th at the Service League’s Harvest Ball. Live entertainment for Celebrity Bartending Night will include a live broadcast by radio personality, Sam Bourquin (News-Talk 1480 WHBC) and a performance by “The Scenarios” featuring Tom Clark.

Your favorite Mercy and dental community celebrities will be working the bar for a great cause. All proceeds (including celebrity bartender tips, a portion of food and drink sales and Harvest Raffle ticket sales) will go toward the Mercy General Practice Dental Residency Endowment Fund.

The capstone event of Mercy Service League’s fundraising is the Harvest Ball, which will be held on Saturday, October 11th, inside the Canton Memorial Civic Center Arena. This year’s theme is “It’s A Mod Mod World”, and once again the popular dinner and dancing event promises to be a relaxing evening of fun and fellowship, with the Canton Memorial Civic Center transformed into an enchanting setting. The winner of the $10,000 Harvest Raffle prize will be announced that evening. All proceeds of the Harvest Ball will benefit the Mercy General Practice Dental Residency Endowment Fund.
