Mercy to Present Program on Heart Disease Prevention
Canton, Ohio: Did you know that several risk factors for heart disease can be modified, treated or controlled? Mercy Heart Center will present, “Awareness Redefines Your Tomorrow” on Tuesday, April 16th inside Mercy Hall Auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m. This FREE educational program will discuss steps you can take to stay heart healthy and help prevent disease. The presentation will be immediately followed by a Q & A panel discussion.
The featured speaker will be Simonette Jones, M.D., Non-Invasive Cardiologist for Mercy Cardiovascular Institute (MCI). Joining Dr. Jones for the Q & A panel will be Michelle Frangos, M.D., Emergency Medicine; Elena Norch, M.D., Internal Medicine; Elizabeth Prosser, M.D., FACP, Internal Medicine and Aida Safar, M.D., Pathology. The panel will be moderated by Ahmed Sabe, M.D., executive director of Mercy Heart Center.
