Mercy Medical Center is Seeking Gift Shop, Information Desk and Patient Transport Volunteers

Canton, Ohio: Mercy Medical Center’s Volunteer Department is currently seeking individuals to serve the Mercy Gift Shop, lobby information desks and as patient transporters. Gift shop responsibilities include assisting with telephone orders, stocking merchandise, using a cash register and assisting customers. Volunteer service hours are flexible, and a meal benefit is provided.



Information desk volunteers interact with patients and visitors. Utilizing a computer and telephone are essential service duties for information desk volunteers. Service hours are flexible for this position.

Volunteers are also needed to serve as transporters to assist patients in wheelchairs throughout the medical center. Training is provided for all volunteer positions.
