Mercy Partners with Local Law Enforcement for Click It or Ticket Campaign

In 2014, there were 44 motor vehicle collision fatalities in Stark County, which is sixty-nine-percent more than in 2013.  Sadly, seat belts were used in less than half of these accidents.

Did you know that stroke is the fifth-leading cause of death in the United States and the leading cause of long-term disability?  According to the American Stroke Association, African Americans and Hispanics have a much higher risk of death from a stroke compared to Caucasians.

Knowing the risk factors of stroke is vital, but there are some risk factors that are uncontrollable.

Mercy Sports Medicine Offers Coaches Clinic May 26

Mercy Sports Medicine will host a Coaches Clinic from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 at Mercy Health Center of Jackson, located at 7337 Caritas Circle, NW, Massillon. The cost of the clinic is $20, and each coach attending will be able to apply for the state permit upon completion of the clinic.
