Canton, Ohio: The College of American Pathologists (CAP) has awarded Mercy Medical Center Pathology and Laboratory Medicine its Cycle 2 CAP 15189 designation, a reaccreditation based on the quality standards outlined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Mercy Sports Medicine will host a Coaches Clinic from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21 at Mercy Health Center of North Canton, located at 6200 Whipple Ave., N.W., in North Canton. The cost of the clinic is $20, and each coach attending will be able to apply for the state permit upon completion of the clinic.
Mercy Maternity Services is offering Hope For Healing, a new perinatal loss support group for people who have experienced the loss of a baby due to a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. This free, four-week support group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 23 and 30 and August 6 and 13 in Mercy Medical Center’s Nursing Education Classroom.
